Imagine - the Dells Mill was built in 1864 - 5 stories high - no automobiles and almost no railroads. Wisconsin was just a State for 16 years - Augusta was a town for just 8 years - the area was barely settled and Augusta Wisconsin was just a pioneer community - Imagine.
The Dells Mill Pond is a great
place to fish year round. Large Mouth Bass,
Blue Gills, Sun Fish, and Perch waiting to be caught.
Motorized boats are not allowed on the Millpond
The Large Mouth Bass season in the Dells Mill Pond is the first Saturday in May, (7th) 2005, through the First Saturday in March, (4th) 2006
Canoes, kayaks and recreational items can be rented at Riverside Junction.
